📜 Code of Conduct & Discipline

At Rajeshwari Women College, discipline is the foundation of academic excellence and personal growth. All students are required to maintain respectful behavior, punctuality, and decorum both inside and outside the classroom. The following rules must be followed by every student:


🔸 General Discipline

  • Students must always carry their valid college ID card while on campus.

  • Decent dress code must be followed. Unethical or inappropriate attire is not allowed.

  • Loitering in corridors or common areas during class hours is strictly prohibited.

  • Students should address faculty and staff respectfully and follow college hierarchy for grievances.


🔸 Attendance & Punctuality

  • Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory to appear in internal and final examinations.

  • Students must be punctual and enter the classroom before the lecture begins.

  • Late entry or early exit from the class without permission is considered misconduct.


🔸 Mobile Phone Policy

  • Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited inside classrooms, library, and examination halls.

  • Phones, if carried, must remain on silent or switched off mode.

  • Misuse of mobile devices may lead to confiscation and disciplinary action.


🔸 Academic Integrity

  • Cheating, copying, or any form of malpractice during exams or assignments is a serious offense.

  • Plagiarism in academic work is not tolerated and will result in strict action.

  • Students must complete their own coursework and respect academic deadlines.


🔸 Campus Behavior

  • Any act of bullying, ragging, harassment, or groupism is strictly banned and punishable.

  • Students are expected to help maintain cleanliness and avoid littering.

  • Defacing walls, furniture, or college property is punishable.


🔸 Disciplinary Actions

  • Violation of any rules may result in one or more of the following actions:

    • Verbal or written warning

    • Suspension from classes

    • Detention from appearing in exams

    • Cancellation of admission in extreme cases

Note: The final authority in all disciplinary matters rests with the Principal. Students are advised to stay informed of the college’s code of conduct and comply with it sincerely
